, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the parliament's efforts culminated in the success of the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani in recovering 180 billion dinars from the looted funds.
Al-Mandalawi stated in a tweet followed by Mawazine News: "The efforts made by the House of Representatives in following up what was known as the theft of the century and the looting of tax secretariat funds, culminated in the success of the government of brother Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani in recovering 180 billion dinars of the looted funds."
He noted that "those involved continue to be pursued and all amounts looted from tax secretariats are recovered." Ended 29 / H
