    Shafaq News/ The Central Bank's sales of dollars for foreign remittances increased, on Tuesday, to exceed $100 million in today's auction, with the participation of 38 banks.
    Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 141 million 387 thousand and 995 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
    Our correspondent added that 75% of the sales went to consolidate the balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 113 million, 387 thousand and 995 dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, which amounted to 28 million dollars.
    Our correspondent indicated that 21 banks have met requests to consolidate balances abroad, and 17 banks have met cash requests, in addition to 182 mediation companies.
