Today, Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the issuance of a recruitment order against a former director general in the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, on the grounds that he unjustly requested sums of money for himself.
And the Commission’s Investigation Department stated, in its discussion of the case that it investigated and referred to the judiciary, that the Rusafa Investigation Court, specialized in integrity cases in Baghdad, issued a summons order against the former Director General of the Municipality of Mansour, pointing out that the order came on the background of his accusation of blackmailing the owner of a generator to pay an amount ( 3,600,000) million dinars for renting a floor for a period of three months, then asking him, after the expiry of the period, to pay an amount of (15,000,000) million dinars, before they agreed again - after negotiation - to pay (3,600,000) million dinars.
The department added that the Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues in Baghdad, issued the recruitment order; In accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. (160 of 1983).
The authority had revealed in the middle of this month that the judicial authorities had issued (46) arrest and recruitment orders. Against the background of cases investigated by the directorates and offices of the Commission’s investigation in Baghdad and the provinces and referred to the judiciary, noting that those orders issued against (41) high-ranking officials were distributed among (9) arrest warrants, and (37) recruitment orders.
