Shafaq News/ The prices of Iraqi Basra Medium and Heavy crude oil rose for the second day in a row, on Thursday, with oil rising globally.
Basra medium crude, exported to Asia, rose 85 cents, or 1.07%, to reach $80.34 per barrel.
Basra Heavy crude, exported to Asia, rose 85 cents, or 1.15%, to $74.69.
Global oil prices witnessed a decline this morning, before rising again, bringing the price of Brent to more than 87 dollars a barrel today, with the expectation that OPEC will make more cuts on the production of oil of its members and the imminence of the Russian oil embargo by the European Union on December 5 of this year.
