Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani chaired, on Saturday, a meeting of heads and directors of service and sectoral departments in Samarra district.
A statement by Al-Sudani's office, received by Mawazine News, stated that the Prime Minister "listened to a detailed presentation on the service reality of Samarra, the progress of implementing infrastructure and service projects there, and the most important obstacles facing providing services to citizens and meeting their needs."
Al-Sudani confirmed that he "came to Salah al-Din Governorate in order to find out in detail its general reality," adding that "the service situation in all governorates needs serious review and quick plans for treatment."
Al-Sudani stressed the need for "local government plans in all governorates to focus on infrastructure projects, which we consider a correct foundation for all subsequent projects, and we have made them among the priorities of the ministerial curriculum within its service axis."
The Prime Minister directed that "urgent measures be taken to remove obstacles to the implementation of water projects in Samarra district, as well as the distribution of fertilizer among farmers in Samarra and the entire Salah al-Din governorate." Ended 29/N33
