Baghdad / Obelisk: Iraq deploys its security forces on the borders of the Iraqi Kurdistan region bordering Iran, amid an Iranian welcome, and questions about the extent of the region's cooperation, which is sensitive to any federal forces on the land of Kurdistan.
The Iranian government accuses the Kurdish opposition factions of fomenting the unrest in Iran since September 16.
However, the Kurdistan Regional Presidency showed cooperation by declaring, on Monday, that Erbil and Baghdad would cooperate and coordinate fully to protect border security.
And both the Sudanese Prime Minister and Nechirvan Barzani stressed that no threats or military operations targeting neighboring countries across the borders of Iraq and the Kurdistan region should be allowed.
The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath Surji, says that the party has expressed its approval for the deployment of Iraqi military forces on the border strip with Turkey and Iran, indicating that it is the best solution to prevent a military attack by Turkey and Iran.
Activist Muhammad al-Nasseri believes in a tweet on Twitter that the deployment of security forces on the region's borders with Iran and Turkey does not solve the crisis, indicating that Kurdistan refuses to submit to the center and its outlets and oil outside Baghdad's control.
On November 23, Iraq announced its intention to redeploy its forces on its borders with Iran and Turkey, after repeated bombings targeted the areas of the Kurdistan region.
Follower of Iraqi affairs, Montaser, warns on Twitter against the deployment of federal forces in the northern region of Iraq before entering into four-way talks involving (Iran, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq). And change the constitution of the Kurdistan region.
The observer of the political situation, Abu Ali Al-Tamimi, talks about the regional government's refusal to enter any federal forces, considering that the region must prove its ability to protect Kurdistan, while the activist Abdul Karim Al-Ghadban asks if the federal government can send federal security forces to control the border crossings in the Kurdistan region? While Thaer al-Subaihawi recalled the incident of the Kurdish forces besieging a licensed headquarters for the Hashd, wondering whether the federal forces could practice the same activity in any village in Kurdistan.
