Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani said, on Saturday, that lagging projects are unacceptable and require immediate treatment, indicating that importance should be given to health sector projects.
This came while he chaired a meeting of officials of the service and sectoral departments in Salah al-Din Governorate, which was held in the governorate building in the presence of the governor, according to a statement received by Shafaq News agency.
Al-Sudani listened to a detailed presentation on the service and economic reality of the governorate, the most important problems it faces, and the solutions to overcome them.
The Prime Minister affirmed that "his visits to the governorates aim at field inspection and the formation of teams that follow up on delaying projects and provide services on a regular basis," stressing that "delayed projects are unacceptable and require immediate treatment."
And the Prime Minister indicated that "importance must be given to health sector projects, as it cannot be accepted that citizens have to travel for treatment, while hospital projects in the province are stalling."
He explained that "the ministerial platform made combating poverty in all its forms a priority, and also worked to improve the reality of vulnerable groups that need greater care from the state."
Al-Sudani urged the officials of the service and sectoral departments in Salah al-Din to make more efforts to serve the people of the province, to be present in the field at work joints, and to activate the outlets for citizens' complaints and deal with them.
