    [size=45]Community organizations and activists in Dhi Qar have called for activating the role of government institutions in providing more support for people with disabilities.[/size]
    [size=45]The correspondent of (Al-Mada) stated that “The Tema Organization for the Relief of the Iraqi Family, in cooperation with the Office of the Commission for Human Rights in Dhi Qar, held a symposium titled (The Role of Persons with Disabilities in Social Inclusion), and it was attended by a number of government officials, representatives of community organizations, volunteer teams and activists in the field of Family protection and development.[/size]
    [size=45]The correspondent added, "This coincides with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development represented in (leaving no one behind) advocated by the United Nations."[/size]
    [size=45]Journalist Mojtaba Karim Al-Saeedi said about his participation in the symposium, "The aim of holding the symposium on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is to shed light on the challenges facing this segment that requires special governmental and community care."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Saeedi stressed, "the need to enable people with special needs to integrate into society, and to play their role in a manner commensurate with their physical and cognitive abilities."[/size]
    [size=45]He called for "activating the role of government institutions and community and humanitarian organizations towards persons with disabilities."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Saeedi referred to "the number of successful international experiences in which the required care was provided to the individuals of this segment, which helped them develop their human capabilities and achieve important achievements in the scientific, sports and other fields."[/size]
