The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced, today, Monday, that the value of the governorates and ministries projects within the budget amounts to 222 trillion dinars, while it indicated that about 150,000 job degrees were included in the budget for three categories.
Committee member Mueen Al-Kadhimi said in a televised interview: “The 2023 budget is the responsibility of the government represented by the Ministries of Finance and Planning, as they received the claims of the governorates and ministries for projects amounting to 222 trillion dinars,” indicating, “This amount is not necessarily to be spent in the next year, but rather in the form of Phase".
He added, "There are amendments to the budget, and the Ministry of Finance will have room to make amendments with the start of the legislative recess of the House of Representatives," explaining that "the budget included 75,000 job degrees for graduates of the first three government colleges and holders of higher degrees, as they were distributed to ministries according to the required terms of reference, In addition to 74,000 degrees for fixing electricity contracts for the year 2019.
Regarding the region's share of the budget, he stated that "negotiations are underway with Kurdistan regarding the region's share of the budget," noting that "the region's share will be determined through joint dialogue and calculating the export of oil from Kurdistan by providing clear statements to SOMO."
Al-Kadhimi stressed "the need for Kurdistan to have transparency with the federal government, since the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani is serious about supporting the Kurdistan region," noting that "
