    Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport announced the completion of the concrete wall of the Al-Faw port berths and the container yard, while indicating that there is great support for the success of this great national project.
    The official spokesman for the ministry, Hussein Jalil al-Rubaie, said, "The meeting of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani with the general manager of the General Company for Iraqi Ports yesterday was important, as al-Sudani was briefed on the completion rates, work stages, and design plans for projects and berths for the port of Faw," noting that "Al-Sudani listened." Also, during the meeting, the future vision and scientific proposals for the project, which is under the supervision of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis.
    Al-Rubaie added, in an interview with the official news agency, that "the work continues at an accelerated rate that far exceeds the estimated times for the projects," pointing to "the completion of the work of hammering the 5 pillars of the sidewalks, which are about 170 pillars, and a large number of them have been completed."
    He continued, "The concrete wall of the sidewalks has been completely completed, in addition to the completion of the container yard," explaining that "a large number of roads connecting the ports have been completed, most notably the road linking the international line from the port of Al-Faw towards the submerged tunnel, which is 2.5 kilometers long."
    Al-Rubaie stated that "work on the submerged tunnel has passed a major stage, and its third layer has been filled in," pointing out that "the tunnel is located under the Khor Al-Zubair canal, which will be important in delivering goods from the port of Faw to neighboring countries."
    He stressed that "Al-Sudani directed to expedite the implementation of the dry canal project, in addition to providing financial allocations to complete the project," explaining that "there is great support for the success of this great national project."
