Today, Tuesday, the holy Husseini shrine announced that the rational religious authority decided to establish a new equation for building the system of government in Iraq, different from the previous unfair equation, while indicating that the vision of the supreme authority is to build a state that embraces everyone.
The Secretary-General of the Holy Husayni Shrine, Hassan Rashid Al-Abaiji, said in a speech he delivered at the scientific forum marked (The Impact of Good Leadership in the Renaissance of Nations and their Advancement, Sayyid al-Sistani, “May his shadow last as a model), which was held under the auspices of the legal guardian of the Hussaini Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai, and in the presence of the President of the Shiite Endowment and the Undersecretary of the Religious Reference And a number of researchers, academics, and clerics said, “The religious authority is the natural extension of the imamate, as stated in the hadith of Imam Al-Hujjah (may God hasten his honorable reappearance). It will be in light of the different roles and positions played by the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
And he continued, "The supreme religious authority assumed many functions and duties that made it carry the trust of the Muhammadan message and exercised roles and positions against the movement of deviation and deterioration, as practiced by Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)", explaining that "the leading authority and from the capital of Shiism the honorable Najaf, stands today with awareness, firmness, wisdom and The correct approach of her ancestors to face the waves of challenges, dangers and crises besetting man, the land and the sanctities, and she had several roles in line with the nature of the stage and circumstance.
He added: "The rational reference authority has become fully aware of the history of this country and the history of its patient people, and has been briefed on the epochs and political roles that passed through it. Through this understanding, the reference authority decided to establish a new equation for building the system of government in Iraq, different from the previous unfair equation, so that the people are the key to this new equation." And direct elections, the creation of governing institutions, holding them accountable, and replacing them in the event of failure to perform their duties.”
He stressed that "one of the most prominent roles in making the new Iraq is building a rational state, and the vision of the supreme authority was to build a state that respects and embraces all components of the Iraqi people according to the criterion of justice in which building depends on several pillars, the most important of which is the preparation of a constitution that all components participate in writing and is accepted by The majority of the people, and then the adoption of a fair electoral system through which the House of Representatives is elected, which forms the government responsible for preserving order and serving the people according to the approach of justice and equality among all citizens, and adopting the principle of separation between the executive, legislative and judicial powers, so that the matter is ultimately in the hands of the people.
Al-Abaiji explained that "after the fall of the exterminated regime, the supreme religious authority adopted a clear position in rejecting the policy of occupation, as it expressed its opinion on the existing conditions at the time, as Mr. Among them is the collapse of the pillars of the state and living in a state of insecurity and stability,” pointing out that “one of the wise directions of the Supreme Reference is the need to preserve public order in the state, manage the affairs of society, run its public affairs, and spread justice and peace among its components without discrimination between one sect and another or between nationalism and another, for all citizens are equal in rights and duties.”
And he indicated that "the supreme authority emphasized on the people of Iraq who possess the competence and qualifications to take up the administration of the country, and they do not have to do so under any foreign authority, reject all forms of foreign interference in Iraqi affairs, and that Iraq must achieve its independence in a complete and undiminished manner."
