Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Health Committee called on the Council of Ministers to solve the problem of salaries for employees of the Nineveh Health Department and to fill the financial deficit in it.[/size]
[size=45]“The employees of the Nineveh Health Department, to this day, have not received their salaries for the month of November, because there is a deficit in financing the salaries of the Nineveh Health Department, which amounts to 11 billion dinars,” said the deputy head of the committee, Representative Majid Shankali, in a press conference.[/size]
[size=45]He added, "There are more than 30,000 employees in the Nineveh Health Department who have not received their salaries," calling on "the Ministry of Health to present the issue at the cabinet meeting and work to expedite the payment of employee salaries."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that “Nineveh Health Department has not had any operating expenses for three months and has stopped purchasing equipment, supplies and services in hospitals and health centers in the province,” stressing “the need to find a solution to the issue, given that the issue is related to the lives of citizens and their daily strength.”[/size]
