    Today, Wednesday, the head of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, Adel Akab, addressed a request to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, coinciding with the imminent approval of the general budget law for the year 2023.
    Akab said in a statement received by the National News Center, “We present to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani to add an amount of 500 billion dinars to the Industrial Bank annually, provided that it is not raised except by law because the budget is about to be approved,” noting that “the state spends more than 600 billion dinars.” One thousand billion annually in operations, and we only need 500 billion, which is an incalculable percentage of the total amount for the employment of unemployed youth and factories.
    He added, "The decision is calculated to operate and withdraw unemployment from the street and all sectors work with it," stressing that "the 500 billion will return to the state because they are loans and there are benefits from tax, social security, and customs, to many of them fees for operating the machines."
    He pointed out that "the Industrial Bank will be committed to industrial and developmental projects, and will avoid real estate loans and all loans other than industrial facilities."
