    On Wednesday, the Ministerial Council for National Security held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, and took several decisions.

    The council stressed “the need to preserve the lives of peaceful demonstrators, and to prevent any party from intervening through politicizing the demonstrations or exploiting them for personal purposes.

    The council decided to "resolve the issue of security audits in a way that preserves the dignity of the citizen, as well as in a way that meets the requirements of intelligence work."
