The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Batali Al-Najm, confirmed today, Thursday, that the ministry has (298) factories, most of which date back to the sixties and seventies.
“The Ministry of Industry and Minerals has (298) factories, most of which are from the sixties and seventies, and more than (100) factories stopped,” Battal said in a statement received by (Al-Oula News).
He added, “Most of these factories do not have an economic feasibility due to obsolescence and the inability to keep pace with technological development.”
