Today, Sunday, Defense Minister Thabet Al-Abbasi pledged to take care of the wounded army.
Al-Abbasi said in a statement, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “We made a visit to Al-Hussein Military Hospital to see the progress of work in it and to follow up on the implementation of our directives during the previous visit.”
Al-Abbasi directed, according to the statement, to "overcome obstacles and facilitate procedures for treating the wounded heroes and those who are asleep," stressing that "following up on the file of the wounded Iraqi army is one of our top priorities, and We will continue to work to treat them fairly and give them their rights.”
