Politics Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani called today, Wednesday, German companies to invest in Iraq in various fields, in light of the investment environment it provided.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani received, today, Wednesday, the German National Security Adviser, Jens Plotner, and his accompanying delegation."

He added, "Plutner conveyed the greetings of the German leadership to the Sudanese, and conveyed to him an invitation from the German chancellor to visit the capital, Berlin."

According to the statement, the Prime Minister stressed "the importance of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and Iraq's desire to develop them in the fields of economy and energy," calling on German companies to "invest in Iraq in various fields, in light of the investment environment provided by Iraq."

During the meeting, Al-Sudani praised "Germany's efforts, and its cooperation with Iraq within the international coalition in the war against ISIS terrorist gangs, and the continuation of this cooperation in the framework of advice and training."
