Today, Thursday, the Parliamentary Education Committee announced the inclusion of a paragraph in the next year’s budget to install lecturers.
The head of the committee, Zaytoun al-Dulaimi, said, "The Parliamentary Education Committee is supportive of free lecturers, especially since there is an acute shortage of teachers."
She added, "There is a delay in installing the free lecturers, and there is a conflict between the Ministry of Education and the governorates regarding the number of lecturers."
And she indicated that "the country needs twice as many lecturers' glands to fill teaching vacancies," stressing that "there will be a paragraph for lecturers and their confirmation in the 2023 budget."
