The Federal Integrity Commission confirmed, today, Thursday, that it was able to detect violations in the implementation of one of the projects implemented by the Reconstruction Fund in Nineveh Governorate.
The Commission's investigation department said, according to a statement received by Mawazine News, that "a work team from the staff of the Nineveh Investigation Directorate moved to the reconstruction fund in the province, and monitored violations in a project to rehabilitate and maintain one of the main streets in the city of Mosul."
The department added, "The team was able to seize the original project's raw materials, which cost (4,647,350,000) billion dinars, after laboratory tests proved that it did not conform to the standard specifications."
She referred to "organizing a fundamental record of the seizures, and presenting it to the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court specialized in cases of integrity, who decided to conduct the investigation, based on the provisions of Article (331) of the Iraqi Penal Code." Ended 29/N33
