Today, Friday, political leaders recalled the sacrifices of the victory leaders, stressing that they fought terrorism on behalf of the world, while warning of an economic war.
Hadi Al-Amiri, head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, confirmed, in his speech at the festival marking the third anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, that “the fatwa of the competent jihad was able to unite all energies to fight the terrorist gangs of ISIS,” noting that “the credit goes to the supreme authority Ali al-Sistani in the eternal battle against terrorism.”
He added, "We remember these days the third anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, and we ask God to follow their path," noting that "the two martyr leaders, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani, dedicated themselves to Islam."
He continued, "I thank the doctors who were crowding into the fields of death to save the fighters defending Iraq, and the logistical support processions for their great contribution to the arenas of jihad," adding, "We hope that there will be a special festival to honor media professionals, doctors, engineers, and logistical support processions."
The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance indicated that "we have another battle that is no less important than the previous stage, which is the soft war, and we must contribute to this battle," noting that "fighting the scourge of drugs is no less important than fighting ISIS, if not as dangerous."
Al-Amiri warned that "the battle today must be a battle for economic independence and the rise of the dollar is part of a scheme to control the economy."
In his turn, the Secretary-General of the League of the Righteous Movement, Qais Khazali, stressed during his speech at the festival, “The necessity for the sacrifice of the martyrs to remain the compass through which actions are corrected,” stressing that the enemies wanted morale to collapse by assassinating the leaders of victory.
Al-Khazali said in a speech he gave at the annual Perfume Al-Sawater Festival, followed by (Al-Oula News): “Nations are proud of their martyrs, and we presented thousands of martyrs on the path of truth.”
For his part, the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, said in his speech: “Loyalty to the martyrs requires us to remember their heroism,” noting that “the legacy they left is great.”
He added, "The two leaders of victory represent a summary of experiences in Iraq's historic confrontation in front of the dark front of terrorism, and they had a great commitment to what the religious authority issues."
And he stated that “the leaders of victory concluded their lives with martyrdom, and they fought terrorism and extremism on behalf of the world,” stressing that “the leaders of victory and all the martyrs and sacrifices fought on behalf of the region and the world.”
