The Parliamentary Education Committee considered, on Monday, the failure to allocate the financial costs of the 2020 lecturers in the 2023 budget and the Food Security Law as "unfair" to them, stressing its determination to do justice to them and work to add the necessary financial allocations for them.
The head of the committee, Zaytoun Al-Dulaimi, said, "The first steps that the committee will work on in 2023 is represented in fairness to the class of 2020 lecturers," noting that it "will work to ensure that they obtain their entitlement, especially since most of them have administrative orders for more than two years and they continue to attend schools until now." ", according to the official newspaper.
She added, "Their appointment is an integral part of the educational process, as their reluctance to work will leave many vacancies in the specializations that they occupy in schools, and the need for them exists and continues, especially since the number of first-grade students is increasing by about one and a half million each academic year, which requires staffing." additional educational facilities to contain the annual increase in numbers.
