Director of the Retirement and Social Security Department for Workers at the Ministry of Labor, Kholoud Hiran, said that the department's efforts are directed towards expediting the approval of the new retirement and social security bill, as it "includes many privileges."
In an interview with the official newspaper, Hayran explained that among these privileges, "the salary of workers in the private sector will be equal to what their peers receive in the public sector, and there is continuous communication with the House of Representatives for the purpose of expediting the vote on this law."
And she added, "She hopes to vote on it during the first months of the current year 2023, so that all insured and retired workers can obtain their rights as stipulated in the law."
