    Today, Wednesday, the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced the approval of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to terminate the contract concluded with the Canadian company (Bizins lntel) for the security protection of Baghdad International Airport.


    The authority stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "as a result of the large number of appeals from members of the House of Representatives and the notation of some negative observations from several oversight authorities against the security company contracting to protect [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/120339287/%D9%85%D8%B7%D8%A7%D8%B1 %D8%A8%D8%BA%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%84%D9%8A/ar/]Baghdad International Airport[/url], and in light of these appeals, the Prime Minister directed the formation of an investigative committee to follow up on procedures and violations related to On the subject of contracting according to Diwani Order 22119 dated 11/6/2022 between the Civil Aviation Authority and the aforementioned company.






    The statement added, "The committee recommended that there be several breaches in the contract concluded with it, especially with regard to its failure to obtain a license to practice the profession issued by the Ministry of Interior in accordance with the provisions of Security Companies Law No. 52 of 2017."

     
    He pointed out that "the authority reserves its right, in accordance with the provisions of the law, to resort to the judiciary in the event of damage or consequences affecting it as a result of that contract."
