    Economic expert Amer Al-Jawahiry considered, on Wednesday, that activating the sector in Iraq has become a dream that has been circulating since the nineties of the last century.
    Al-Jawahiry told "Al-Iqtisad News" that "the recent appointments, which were around 500,000 job degrees, caused an increase in the salary clause within the operating expenses in the budget, and therefore they constitute a heavy burden for operating expenses and pressure on the budget and limit investment expenses."
    He added, "The cabinet formed a team to improve the investment environment under the supervision of Tahsin Naji, but the government must activate the private sector and investment after the file turned into slogans only, the outlet of the nineties of the last century."
    And he believed that "the government must provide the team with non-governmental cadres in order to work effectively and take steps in the field of diversifying the Iraqi economy and income resources, improving productivity and working on large projects, whether implemented through the budget or partnership with the private sector and supporting small projects."
