, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Bengin Rikani, directed the immediate withdrawal of work from companies lagging behind in the implementation of projects.
A statement by the Ministry of Construction, which Mawazine News received a copy of, stated that "The Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Bengin Rikani, chaired an expanded meeting to discuss the projects of the municipal sector, in the presence of the general directors of the Planning, Financial and Administrative Departments and the Directorates of Water and Sewage, Municipalities and Urban Planning, and at the meeting a project was reviewed New residential cities, water and sewage projects, and municipalities within the ministry's investment plan, and discussing the progress of work in these projects and addressing obstacles.
And he added, "The minister directed the immediate withdrawal of work from companies that are lagging in the implementation of projects, as well as from companies that recorded a negative deviation in the work progress schedule by 10%," stressing that "the ministry is determined to complete all its projects and before the scheduled completion period to serve citizens."
