The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News, that "the Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, met with the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation headed by (Muhammad Al-Mahan), on the sidelines of the thirteenth session. of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, held in the Turkish state of Antalya.
He added, "During the meeting, they discussed joint parliamentary relations, stressing the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation frameworks between the two countries, and agreeing to unify positions and efforts in developing parliamentary work within the framework of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, especially with regard to the (Iraq) presidency of the Political Affairs Committee, and the deputy presidency."
