Today, Wednesday, the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives revealed the number of job grades included in the 2023 budget.
Committee member Moein Al-Kazemi said in a press statement: “Allocations have been included in the 2023 budget, for more than 250,000 degrees to the Ministry of Education, as well as 74,000 job degrees for first-class students and holders of higher degrees.”
Al-Kazemi added, "There are 102,000 job degrees in the Ministry of Electricity to convert contract holders into permanent owners," stressing that "the number of employees in state institutions will exceed three and a half million employees."
He pointed out that “the consequences of this will raise the value of employee salaries from 42 trillion dinars to 60 trillion dinars,” stressing “support for the private sector, encouraging laboratories, and enacting the Social Security and Retirement Law.”
He explained, "The prime minister presented a government program, which includes support for the private sector, investment, agriculture, industry, tourism, and job creation for young people in the private sector," noting that "this approach requires border control, import prevention, imposing taxes on the importer, and support for the national product."
