    Baghdad today -  
    The central bank’s sales of dollars fell at an auction today, Tuesday, to record 63 million dollars .
     The (Baghdad Today) correspondent stated that “the Central Bank sold, today, Tuesday, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 63 million and 332 thousand and 784 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Monday, when sales amounted to about 80 million dollars. 
    He pointed out that "cash sales amounted to 38,600,000 dollars, while the rest of 22,982,784 dollars went to strengthening balances abroad in the form of (remittances, credits)." 
    He explained that "the banks that bought cash dollars amounted to 13 banks, while the number of banks that met requests to strengthen balances abroad reached 9 banks, while the total number of exchange and mediation companies participating in the auction was 191 companies."
