    Baghdad-conscious 
    Today, Monday, the General Authority of Customs confirmed the completion of the first phase of the project to automate procedures and the comprehensive electronic system for customs. 
    A statement of the General Authority of Customs, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Director General of the General Authority of Customs, Shaker Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi, attended a meeting chaired by the Minister of Finance, Taif Sami .”
    He pointed out, “During the meeting, the government curriculum for the authority was discussed, as most of what is in the ministerial curriculum for amending Customs Law No. (23) for the year 1984, as well as Customs Tariff Law No. ( 22) for the year 2010 was accomplished.
    He added, "With regard to the third paragraph of the ministerial curriculum, which is related to the automation of procedures and the comprehensive electronic system for customs, the first phase of it has been completed."
