Al-Sudani's media office said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today) that "the latter received the Emir of the Yazidis in Iraq and the world, Hazem Tahsin Bey, and his accompanying delegation, which included representatives of the Yazidi component in Parliament and a number of clerics, sheikhs and notables of the Yazidi religion."
Al-Sudani expressed, according to the statement, "great pride and appreciation for this honorable Iraqi spectrum and its sacrifices," stressing "the government's keenness to preserve the cultural and social diversity that our Iraqi people enjoy, as an element of strength, cohesion, and cohesion."
Al-Sudani pointed out that "the reconstruction of Sinjar and the Nineveh Plain are among the goals that the government seeks," noting that "the reconstruction and provision of services is sufficient to establish stability in the region."
