The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ms. Evan Faiq Jabro, received today, Wednesday, the Minister of State in the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tobias Lindner, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Germany to Iraq, Mr. Martin Becker.[/size]
[size=45]The meeting brought together the two sides in the building of the Ministry of Immigration in the capital, Baghdad, during which they discussed the nature of relations between the two sides and ways to develop and strengthen these relations in the areas of migration, especially the Iraqi community of refugees in Germany, as well as support for the return of the displaced and the achievement of stability in the country.[/size]
[size=45]Her Excellency confirmed that the meeting came as a continuation of the recent visit of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Shia'a Al-Sudani, to Germany, to discuss the files that were presented there, which concern the conditions of the Iraqis present on German soil, especially those whose asylum applications have been rejected, the solution of their outstanding problems, and the mechanism for their voluntary return.[/size]
[size=45]For his part, Dr. Tobias Lindner affirmed his country's commitment to supporting Iraq, strengthening and expanding cooperation horizons in various fields.
