    Shafaq News / The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed, on Thursday, the presence of "blank instruments" in photocopying offices near some government departments, while threatening to "punish".



    The bank said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, "The phenomenon of the presence of employees of some banks near the passport, traffic and tax departments in the reproduction offices to issue bills is still present, and some of them are under the hands of the owners of those offices signed by those authorized in blank," stressing that "this phenomenon It contradicts the rules of disciplined work and harms the reputation of the bank whose employees engage in such actions, and also harms the reputation of the banking sector in general.
    He added, "Such actions will be observed, and legal measures will be taken against the violating bank and depriving the concerned employee from working in the banking sector, according to what is decided by the Committee for Determining Penalties and Fines Imposed on Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions."
