    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Thursday, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi affirmed the ministry's keenness to provide the best services to citizens, indicating that we do not want to inherit poverty to our children.
Al-Asadi said during his speech at the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in its (42nd) session and followed by (Baghdad Today), that “the continuation of the Arab Ministerial Council for Social Affairs in its search for everything that serves the target segments in the Arab countries is evidence of the Council's success in drawing up accurate policies, and the Arab member countries are committed to implementing and working on it, and this is something that deserves support and praise for the purpose of continuing this collaboration.
He added, "The circumstance that the world is going through in terms of crises in more than one axis and location requires us to study all issues that concern our Arab societies, foremost of which are the rights of persons with disabilities and multidimensional poverty, which is extremely important for a wide segment that has suffered because of wars and unfortunate events.” that our countries have gone through in the past four decades.
Al-Asadi explained that "the government of national service in Iraq has developed an integrated program to advance the reality of the vulnerable and disadvantaged classes in order to overcome the suffering they live in because of the economic situation, as the Ministry of Labor launched the largest social research campaign in Iraq, and the region in mid-January targeting more than two million families.During the first ten days, more than 100,000 families in 20 of the poorest districts were searched, and the campaign is still continuing to complete the search for all those who are eligible.
And he indicated that "social research does not target the economic situation only, but rather focuses on researching the labor force, the environmental, health, human, and social dimensions, as well as the scientific level and the level of services provided, so that this research is a guide that is presented to all ministries to perform the service required of them to citizens.”
