A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Hadi Al-Salami, confirmed today, Saturday, that the fire incident in the Tax Authority building was carried out by an active act.
Al-Salami said during the press conference held in the House of Representatives building, and was attended by the (Baghdad Today) reporter, that "the fire incident that broke out in the General Tax Authority building, was an active act, according to the Report of the investigation committee, contrary to what was announced by the Director of the Tax Authority, Shaker Al-Zubaidi, that it was caused by an electrical fault.
