    Baghdad Today - translation
Today, Saturday, the London-based newspaper "Globe Echo" described the movements of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani and what was achieved during the last period of his power as a rapprochement with the Arabs, taking into account the Positive relations enjoyed by the Iraqi government with the American and Iranian sides.
The newspaper said in an article translated by (Baghdad Today), that "the Sudanese is getting closer to the Arabs, through the 25th Gulf Cup tournament and investing in the unprecedented improvement in Iraqi-Arab relations, especially with the Gulf states, as well as the great economic opportunities that the country is enjoying.” and change the public perception of it as a country under constant danger.
The newspaper added that "Al-Sudanese rapprochement with the Arabs is matched by maneuvers between the American and Iranian desires in Iraq, through which he tries to maintain the government's positive relations with the two sides, despite the insistence of the two parties to include Iraq in the current dispute between them.”
The newspaper concluded its article by emphasizing that "Al-Sudani succeeded in using (ball diplomacy), which included exploiting sports as an appropriate means to create direct positive interaction between Iraq and the countries of the Arab Gulf after years of isolation, as the tournament provided an environment of integration between the societies of these countries to facilitate political communication, as it was presented as a public movement, not political or diplomatic.
The foreign press had indicated earlier that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, was walking cautiously between Washington and Tehran, referring to the policy he followed in foreign relations with these countries.
Iraq achieved an unprecedented openness to the Gulf countries after organizing the Gulf 25, which reflected a positive image confirming the willingness of the Iraqi government and people to maintain its friendly relations with the Arabs and neighboring countries, as it is a major player in the region .
