On Saturday, the Democratic Parties and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan issued a joint statement following a meeting between two delegations from the two parties in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

And the statement, which "NAS" received a copy of, (January 28, 2023), stated, "A high-level delegation from the political bureaus of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan met in Sulaymaniyah today to discuss the political situation in the Kurdistan region."
He added, "The general position, local and regional equations, and the comments of the two sides on various issues related to the previous agreement between the two sides were also presented."
"Finally, the two sides agreed to hold another meeting of the two delegations in the near future," he added.
A delegation arrived at the political office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, this morning, Saturday, the headquarters of the political office of the Patriotic Union, after more than three months of media exchange between them.
Pictures monitored by "NAS" (January 28, 2023) showed that a delegation of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party arrived at the headquarters of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union in Sulaymaniyah.
