A deputy for the State of Law coalition confirmed that Parliament is on the verge of tension and tension until a final formula is settled regarding the provincial elections.
Representative Muhammad Al-Ziyadi said that the House of Representatives is divided between what the members of the previous session went to regarding changing the election law for the provincial councils, and changing the law and making amendments to it with regard to the various constituencies.
He added that the parliament will face a state of tension and attraction until a final formula is reached that is stable and agreed upon on the provincial elections law, especially since the Prime Minister has included within his government program the holding of provincial elections during the month of October.
And Al-Ziyadi indicated that there is a movement within Parliament in order to issue the Provincial Council Elections Law in the appropriate form for the current time, despite the existence of some divisions over paragraphs of the law, especially with regard to pluralism in electoral districts.
