    Today, Sunday, the House of Representatives decided to postpone its scheduled session for tomorrow, Monday. To complete the elections for the presidency of parliamentary committees.


    "The session scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed until further notice, in order to complete the elections for the presidency of parliamentary committees," the council's media department said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.

    Earlier in the day, the heads of 9 parliamentary committees were elected, as Representative Abbas Al-Zamili was chosen as head of the Security and Defense Committee, with Karim Abu Souda as first deputy, and Sakban Youssef as second deputy.






    Ziyad Al-Janabi was also elected Chairman of the Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif as First Deputy, and Karim Shakour as Second Deputy.

    The legal committee chose Rebwar Hadi as its chairman, Murtada Al-Saadi as the first deputy, and Abdul Karim Abtan as the second deputy.

    Hassanein Al-Khafaji was chosen as Chairman of the Investment and Development Committee, his first deputy was Suzan Mansour, and the second deputy was Hussein Al-Sabri.

    Atwan Al-Atwani was also elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmed Mazhar as First Deputy, and Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi as Second Deputy.


    The Strategic Planning Committee elected Laila Mahdi Al-Tamimi as its Chairman, Gandhi Abdul-Karim Al-Kisanzani as First Deputy, and Muhammad Al-Baldawi as Second Deputy.

    The Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee elected Haibat Al-Halbousi as its Chairman, Representative Nehru Muhammad Qadir as First Deputy, and Adnan Al-Jabri as Second Deputy.

    As for the Transport Committee, it elected Zahra Al-Bajari as its Chairman, Akram Al-Assaf as First Deputy, and Ibrahim Mirani as Second Deputy.

    The Agriculture Committee elected Faleh Al-Khazali as its chairman, the first deputy, Zozan Ali, and the second deputy, Hussein Ali Mardan.
