    On Saturday, the United States of America and the United Kingdom welcomed the talks between the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.[/size]
    [size=45]The US Consulate in Erbil, said in a tweet on its Twitter account, "We welcome the steps to reform internal relations that our partners in the Kurdistan Regional Government are taking for the benefit of their people."[/size]
    [size=45]And she added, "By working together, a more developed Kurdistan Region can be built."[/size]
    [size=45]She continued, "The Unified House always thrives."[/size]
    [size=45]In turn, the British Consulate in Erbil said, in a tweet on Twitter, the United Kingdom welcomes today's talks between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. "It is an important first step to finding common ground for the benefit of the Kurdistan Region," she added.[/size]
    [size=45]"We look forward to making progress on key issues at the next meeting," she said.[/size]
    [size=45]The delegations of the two main parties in the Kurdistan Democratic Region and the Patriotic Kurdistan met, on Saturday, in the city of Sulaymaniyah and issued a joint statement after the meeting.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement stated, "Two high-level delegations from the political bureaus of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan met in Sulaymaniyah on Saturday to discuss the political situation in the Kurdistan Region."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The general situation, local and regional developments, and the comments of the two sides on various issues related to the previous agreement between the two sides were reviewed."[/size]
    [size=45]The two sides agreed to hold another bipartisan meeting in the near future, according to the statement.[/size]
    [size=45]The delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party included: Jaafar Aymenki, Mahmoud Muhammad, Heyman Hawrami, Peshtwan Sadiq, and Omid Sabah, while the delegation of the Patriotic Union included Qubad Talabani, Darbaz Kosrat, Aso Mamand, Dara Rashid, and Amin Baba Sheikh.[/size]
