    Alsumaria - International

The 2022 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) released by Transparency International showed today, Tuesday, that most countries in the world are still failing to combat corruption: 95 percent of countries have made little or no progress since 2017. .

The Global Peace Index shows that peace in the world is still deteriorating, and there is a clear relationship between this violence and corruption, as the countries that scored the lowest in this index also got very low scores in the Corruption Perceptions Index.

Governments hampered by corruption lack the capacity to protect the people, while public discontent is more likely to turn violent. This vicious circle affects countries everywhere - from the south to the south[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.](13) to Brazil (38).

And she said[url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/3699085982/%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A7 %D9%81%D9%8A%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A7 %D8%B1%D9%88%D8%A8%D9%8A%D9%88/ar/]Delia Ferrera Rubio[/url]"Corruption has made our world a more dangerous place. As governments collectively fail to make progress against corruption, they are fueling the current rise in violence and conflict - putting people everywhere at risk."

She added, "The only way out of this crisis is for states to work hard, rooting out corruption at all levels to ensure that governments work for all people, not just for an elite few."

    Global Highlights

The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks 180 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption on a scale from 0 (extremely corrupt) to 100 (very clean).

The global average of the Corruption Perceptions Index remains unchanged at 43 for the eleventh year in a row, and more than two-thirds of the countries in the world suffer from a serious problem with corruption, as those countries scored less than 50.

Denmark (90) topped the index for this year, followed closely Finland and New Zealand, each with a score of 87. Strong democratic institutions and respect for human rights make these countries among the most peaceful in the world, according to the Global Peace Index.

As for[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It ranked seventh in the list of the most corrupt Arab countries, and ranked 157 in the most transparent countries in the world for the year 2022 out of 180 countries listed, and thus it remains[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]In the same rank in the Arab world and globally since 2021.
