Shafaq News/ "Foreign and Iraqi" gold prices have stabilized in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, and in the markets of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, today, Tuesday, (January 31, 2023).
Shafaq News agency reporter said that gold prices in the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Street in the capital, Baghdad, were recorded this morning. The selling price of one 21-carat weight of Gulf, Turkish and European gold is 442,000 dinars, and the purchase price is 438,000 dinars, which are the same prices as yesterday, Monday.
Our correspondent indicated that the selling price of one 21-carat weight of Iraqi gold also recorded stability at 412 thousand dinars, and the purchase price reached 408 thousand.
With regard to gold prices in goldsmiths' shops, the price of selling a 21-carat Gulf gold weight ranges between 440,000 and 450,000 dinars, while the selling price of an Iraqi gold weight ranged between 410,000 and 420,000 dinars.
As for gold prices in Erbil, they also witnessed stability, as the price of selling a 24-carat gold weight reached 515 thousand dinars, and 22 carat sold 470 thousand dinars, and 21 carat sold 450 thousand dinars, while 18 carat sold 385 thousand dinars.
One mithqal of gold is equal to (five grams).
