    [Baghdad] President of the Republic Fuad Masum, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Tuesday, his first deputy Nuri al-Maliki.

    According to a presidential statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, “President infallible congratulated al-Maliki for his choice as vice president, wishing him success in the exercise of his duties.”
