The President of the Republic, Dr. Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, received, at the Baghdad Palace, a Kurdish tribal delegation from the people of Kirkuk Governorate.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed that the city of Kirkuk is of special importance and that it suffered from injustice, persecution and deprivation at the time of the defunct regime, stressing the need to improve services and rehabilitate the infrastructure in order to meet the demands of the city's people.
The meeting also discussed the reality of the city and the importance of starting vital projects and developing urban facilities.
While the members of the delegation reviewed the obstacles they face and the people of Kirkuk suffer from.
