The “Iraqi Australian New Zealand Medical Association” meets the Iraqi Medical Association and a number of specialized medical societies

During his recent visit to Baghdad, colleague Dr. Ahmed Al-Rubaie held a number of meetings, including colleague Dr. Jassim Al-Azzawi, head of the Iraqi Medical Syndicate, and a number of colleagues from the Iraqi Medical Syndicate, as well as the Heart and Chest Society and the Society for Combating Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases in Iraq.
During the meetings, the Iraqi-Australian-New Zealand Medical Association, its goals, activities, and status in Australia were introduced, while the colleague, the captain of doctors and colleagues of the specialized societies, intensively discussed the deteriorating reality of health services, hospitals and medical centers in Iraq, and the difficulties facing doctors inside Iraq, as well as the deterioration of medical education.
The captain commended the activities of the Iraqi Australian New Zealand Medical Society and its initiative in the campaign of donations to the wards for people with Covid-19 in Iraq during the Corona pandemic.
It was agreed on more cooperation between the Iraqi Australian New Zealand Medical Association, the Medical Association and specialized medical societies for the benefit of our fellow doctors, medical education and training in Iraq.
It is worth noting that the Medical Association honored the Iraqi Australian and New Zealand Medical Association during a symposium organized by the Association for Combating Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases on investment in the medical sector.
