    [size=45]Yesterday, Tuesday, the Municipality of Baghdad announced the imminent implementation of 47 new projects within the sewage sector, which will include several areas in the capital, Baghdad, while indicating the total of its achievements in the sewage sector during the past year 2022. This comes at a time when the governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, directed the formation of A special high security committee for the rugby visit.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement by the Municipality of Baghdad, received by (Al-Mada), stated that “the Baghdad Sewerage Department revealed the outcome of its projects’ achievements during the year 2022,” stressing “the completion of 11 projects for sewage networks and repairing leaks in the main transport pipes.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that “the sewage department is also working on the implementation of 16 projects, including the establishment of a sewage network to serve localities 773 and 775 within the New Baghdad municipality sector, a sewage network to serve localities 968 and 972 with a submersible lift station in the Zaafaraniya area, a sewage network to serve locality 338 in the Al-Kuraiyat area, and another network to serve Locality 657 in the Haykal area in Al-Ghazaliya.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "work is underway to implement a sewer network for the locality 201 Al-Bayjiyyah, the locality 220 Al-Khariya, the locality 667 for the excretion of judges, and the locality 883 for the national security division, in addition to the establishment of a line and a sewage station to serve Seven Palaces Street, and the implementation of new rain lines to serve Al-Safir Street and Street 80 between the canal." Police and Al-Orfa Street, and another line between the 753 and 751 Fadila and Presidency stores.[/size]
    [size=45]And he stressed that “the current year will include the implementation of 47 projects, including 7 treatment units within the Al Rustamiya project, the third expansion with a capacity of (105) thousand m3 per day, in addition to the implementation of new sewer networks to serve a number of regions, including (Al-Waldaya, Manisif, Al-Amari, Nairiya and Kyara) and other residential areas.” And areas that need sewage drainage networks.[/size]
    [size=45]And that "the plan for the current year also includes the implementation of new lines, pumping and withdrawal stations to drain sewage, as well as projects for cleaning conveyor lines, and projects for laying new conveyor pipes that will constitute a quantum leap in the service of the infrastructure of the capital, Baghdad."[/size]
    [size=45]In addition, the General Traffic Directorate issued, yesterday, Tuesday, a warning regarding blocking a vital road in the center of the capital, Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]The directorate said in a statement, "The road leading from the (Sayed Al-Halib) intersection, passing through the street heading to the four streets, specifically the Yarmouk Recreation Club Street, will be cut from this evening, Wednesday, for a period of two days."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement, which Al-Mada received, added that “this came after coordination with the Projects Department.”[/size]
    [size=45]On a related note, the Baghdad governorate stated, in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “the governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber al-Atta, chaired an expanded security meeting in the governorate’s office, in the presence of a number of security leaders from the Baghdad Operations Command, the directorates of help and traffic, and the local police.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The governor, head of the Supreme Security Committee, listened to a detailed explanation of the work of the security services and their measures aimed at enhancing security in the capital and its outskirts."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Atta stressed, according to the statement, that “the work of the committee will be summed up in following up the procedures and preparations for the Rajab visit, and overcoming all obstacles that may stand in the way of the success of the expected million-dollar visit in the city of Kadhimiya, on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar, peace be upon him,” directing to “form a higher security committee.” to secure a visit.[/size]
