On Wednesday, the Minister of Construction and Housing, Benkin Rikani, announced the referral of more than 30 road projects in the coming weeks, while noting that the current year is the most devoted to roads since 2003.
"We hope that there will be cooperation from the citizens to ensure the flow of these roads and protect them," Rikani said in an interview with the official news agency, on the sidelines of the opening of the Dora-Youssoufia road.
He added, "The interests of all are achieved through reconstruction and construction, as well as overcoming poverty and ensuring a better future for generations," noting that "during the coming weeks, more than 30 road projects will be referred in all governorates."
He continued, "The current year is the most devoted to roads since 2003," stressing, "Work to achieve the best service to the citizen."
And the Minister of Reconstruction warned against "any transgression of the taboos of the road, as it will be dealt with in the legal contexts."
