Specialists in political affairs diagnosing the weakness of the democratic process in Iraq, stressing that the country is still young in terms of experience compared to other countries, especially in light of the parties imposing their domination over the system completely.

There is no true democracy in Iraq. The foundations on which the process was built in its infancy were ethnic, sectarian and regional, which was reflected in the performance of state institutions whose senior positions were assumed by partisans from various components.
And in a dangerous direction, the political struggle tends to use the language of arms instead of dialogue, and to impose control and power by force instead of partnership and sitting at a dialogue table, which cast a shadow on the simple citizen who is waiting for the provision of services, nothing more.
