     The Parliamentary Finance Committee decided to follow up the work of the Central Bank and the exchange rate procedures and find appropriate solutions.

    The committee stated in a statement, reported (Iraq Today) that it "held its first meeting to re-elect its presidency, chaired by its chairman, Atwan Al-Atwani, and in the presence of its members, to discuss a number of issues On the agenda, where the committee chairman indicated that there are many laws, the most important of which is the federal budget law for the year 2023, with the need for joint action to develop a road map to organize the course of action.

    She added, "The first vice-chairman of the committee, Ahmed Mazhar, stressed the work in the spirit of one team and that the titles are just nomenclature, indicating that the committee is the backbone that draws the state's policy financially, calling on the government to send the budget law, pointing to the importance of hosting the governors regarding the sums of development of the regions based on The Law of Emergency Support for Food Security and Development, in addition to the question about the Social Security Law.

    In turn, the vice-chairman of the committee stressed the "presentation of the public interest and follow-up of important laws, and the projects that have been completed within the food security law, and the need to receive the final accounts, as well as re-evaluating the work of the Ministry of Finance and its affiliated departments to correct the work of state institutions, and automating all revenues of state institutions and the sector.” The subscriber and setting up the employee database to ensure the termination of the job intersection.

    The Finance Committee stressed, "the importance of hosting the Ministers of Finance and Planning and the budget preparation team, to reduce the obstacles facing its preparation, and to send a representative of the committee with the preparation team based on the financial management law, and To involve the Financial Supervision Bureau in preparing the budget and reviewing the deficit and spending ratios. "The need for a technical and accurate approach to focus on following up the financial and economic activities related to the budget's objectives and setting priorities for disbursing funds according to the economic feasibility of spending the necessary amounts."

    The committee followed up on the issue of establishing a sovereign fund to preserve market fluctuations as a guarantee for future generations, as well as the importance of following up on the work of the Central Bank through sub-committees.

    On the other hand, the committee stressed "the importance of reviewing and following up the procedures of the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar, finding clear visions to develop appropriate solutions, and preparing an extensive study on the file because of its serious repercussions." on society.”

    At the end of its meeting, the committee decided to review the Social Security and Retirement Law for workers before voting on it during the next session.[/rtl]
