In [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , I said that the Brotherhood had prepared a plan to thwart reaching the political agreement and what would result from a civil government based on 4 pillars: the formation of regional and tribal militias to speculate in the prices of hard currency (the US dollar), demand strikes, as well as fueling conflicts between Various social components (tribes).
While the group continues to implement these pillars with determination and determination, it is also working to adopt an alternative political plan in the event that the ongoing political process succeeds in reaching a final agreement and forming a civil government. The mainstay of this plan is the call for "early elections" after preparing the atmosphere through an organized process to weaken, divide and disperse the parties that make up the Alliance for Freedom and Change and disrupt the government's work through the aforementioned plan.
It is well known that the Sudanese parties suffer in general from organizational problems stemming from the nature of the formation and the reality of the conditions that have been governing the exercise of their activities for more than three decades in which they have been working within the framework of a totalitarian regime based on the security fist aimed at tearing them apart, in addition to the political, social and economic conditions associated with the general conditions in country, which negatively affects performance in various civil institutions and formations.
As these parties suffer from the diseases of organizational slackness and institutional weakness, this is reflected negatively on the internal democratic practice and the associated problems related to the formation of visions and the development of policies, which may lead to grumbling and complaints by party members about their lack of full involvement and active participation in decision-making.
Since the partisan institutional reform process is inseparable from the social, political, and economic contexts in which these parties exist, it requires redoubled efforts to consolidate organizational effectiveness, internal democracy, and collective participation.
The security services invest in deepening objective problems within the parties through various means, and this was evident throughout the Brotherhood’s three-decade rule, and those agencies controlled by the group are still working hard to fragment the active parties in the Alliance for Freedom and Change from within until The political process, which has gone a long way, is being thwarted.
On the other hand, the group has approved its alternative political plan in the event of the completion of the political agreement and the formation of the next government, as it decided to work with its allies from the remnants and the armed movements to call for early general elections so that the transitional period ends without accomplishing the tasks required for the correct establishment of a democratic civil transition.
And the leaks mentioned that a meeting was held at the house of one of the leaders of the armed movements last week, which included the Brotherhood and the remnants, representatives of Sheikh Tayeb al-Jedd’s initiative, the two armed movements that rejected the political framework agreement, and representatives of the parties that participated in the regime of ousted President Omar al-Bashir, to approve the action plan for thwarting the transitional period.
The meeting approved participation in the workshop called for by the Egyptian government, and the participants considered it an important step to create an alternative path for the ongoing political process. They also agreed to launch a major media campaign to preach its outputs and send delegations to the states in order to gain popular support for the decisions and directions that will be approved by the workshop.
The meeting parties also agreed to call for early elections in the event that their efforts to disrupt the political agreement and the formation of the government failed. Some participants suggested that the meeting parties establish an alliance to contest these elections under the name of the "Sudan Party".
There is no doubt that the Brotherhood, since the fall of their corrupt state, has been dreaming of returning to power without fulfilling any entitlements for this return, and they are counting on that on their heavy presence in the state apparatus and their control over the joints of the economy that they have ruled over for thirty full years, and in this context it is possible to understand their call for early elections because they are in The shadow of these data will enable them to return to seizing power again.
For its part, all the forces of the revolution, including those that do not support the framework agreement, are well aware of the goals of the Brotherhood and the remnants, and therefore the agreement clearly stipulates the dismantling of the group’s system, the removal of empowerment and the recovery of looted funds, which is a very important step in the absence of which it is not possible to hold free general elections that guarantee equal opportunities for all Competitors to reach the verdict.
In this context, it has become necessary to speed up the final agreement and the formation of the government, as the prolonged delay will give the Brotherhood and the remnants more time to maximize their benefits from the opportunity they have seized since the coup and through which they were able to gather their ranks, benefiting from their influence within the authority and the state.
The Brotherhood’s plans aimed at preventing reaching the final political agreement and forming the government, and then paving the way for the democratic transition process, will not stop, which requires serious work to unify the revolutionary forces or coordinate between them at the minimum until the transitional period is completed and the revolution’s larger slogan represented in the civil state as a framework for achieving it is achieved. The rest of the goals that the masses have been calling for since the outbreak of the glorious revolution in December 2018.
