Pavel Jalal Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Muthanna al-Samarrai, head of the Azm Alliance, and Rayan al-Kaldani, secretary-general of the Babylon Movement, met in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad were discussed, and the conferees emphasized creating a national consensus to solve problems and move towards harmony and joint action in the country.
The meeting stressed support for the new government and efforts to consolidate the law, confront corruption and provide services. The meeting also demanded that all parties deal with the situation responsibly and guide the country towards stability.
President Pavel Jalal Talabani referred to the efforts of the National Union and its policy to solve problems and build a more prosperous future, and said: All our endeavors are for the consolidation of law and social justice, and our goal is to serve our dear citizens, and that returning to the constitution and common understanding is an essential element for achieving those lofty goals.
